Day Trip to Howth

On Sunday, students had a free day to explore Dublin before classes started for the week. Several smaller groups of students took various day trips to destinations near the city. One particular group ventured to the quaint little fishing village of Howth, which was about 30 minute train ride from the city center.

Students spent the afternoon exploring the streets and shore area. They enjoyed the sunny weather, grabbing lunch a small outdoor market area and eating it in the public park. They were also entertained by the seals that swam nearby, waiting to be fed by tourists and climbed along the rocky shore. One smaller group even made it to the top of a cliff and was able to catch a gorgeous scenic view of Ireland!
